Pride and Punishment The Death of Herod - The Book of Acts - Acts 12:20-24

Herod's death shows us that:

1. Human pride seeks glory that only belongs to God. (vv. 20-23a)

2. Human pride ultimately leads to punishment and death. (v. 23)

3. Human pride can only be overcome with the life-giving message of Jesus. (v. 24)
