Our third and final theology class focused on the question of worship. Instead of diving into the common argument of what kind of musical style or “vibe” we try to create at church, we tried to focus on the biblical story of worship as the foundation of our thinking.

When we look at the whole story of the Bible, we see that worship was a process of God’s people, engaging with him, based on the structure and path that he himself provides. He is the center of worship. He is the determiner of worship. He is the shaper of our worship.
